• Need Help Setting up a Coolsat 6000
.can someone help me out. The satellite I am pointed at is Galaxy 26 at 93.0W. I just got a coolsat 6000 to hook up to my dish. The dish I am using is an older primestar with a primestar LNBF. The LNBF has two outputs, one V and one H. I have them running into a DisEqc 2.0 switch. setting up the coolsat 6000 is where I run into the questions. In the set up page, I need to setup the following and am unsure of what choices to make. LNB Power = either on or off LNB type = universal or single o
• What satellite does HD Absolute use?
.Is all the programming on 129? And is the Dish 1000 all I need for HD Absolute package ONLY? I get my locals from OTA antenna. In front of the dish are 3 LNB's. The problem is he had to install dish without a meter because his broke yesterday. He's going to come back and re-align dish with a meter. Some of the channels are going in and out. I hope it's just the alignment. The signal strength shows 37%. Thanks.

.Ok, so I am now getting this message in the a) Status: section on my system info. The receiver I have (622) is now losing the signal every few minutes and I just press guide or view tv and the signal comes back. I was checking about this online and dish says that I should replace the LNB because it could fail in the future. My receiver shows in details LNB Drift Dectected... 0x0d, 0xa1, 129(e -5) Do I really need to replace the LNB? Thanks

.I'm trying to get anything from this setup! I got a satellite meter today and hooked it up. I aimed the dish, followed the instructions for the meter where I set it at about 5, moved the dish until it hit 10, dialed it back to 5, etc. I seemed to get a good signal with that so I unhooked it, hooked the receiver back directly to the lnb and went inside to fiddle with that stuff. .Do LNB's go bad. I have a quad LNB pointing at sats 110 and 119. Sat 110 is fine, I'm not getting all the transponders on sat 119. I'm missing ESPN, Animal Channel, TNT and a few other channel from Sat 119. Should I replace the LNB or am I having a different problem?

.i am very new to fta , but i bought a dish network 500 dual lnb dish and a captive works 800 , a friend said they could help me put it all up , and we did but i got no picture or sound , he hooked a regular tv cable to the 119 lnb and then to a regular splitter . can someone please help , do i need a certain cable or a certain kind of splitter ? thank you

.HR20-700 Receiver. Long story short. Problem started with "Acquiring Guide Data" Did a Red Button Reboot as suggested now I have no programming. I was told by CSR to swap it out with my other Hr20 Receiver (which was working) same problem occurred. Rehooked working receiver and now IT doesn't work. .Can the receiver maybe be bad? I have a traxis 3500 with an xtreme II lnb. I get horizontal fine but no vertical. I am going through an sg2100 motor. Can I check the voltages out of the receiver? When I choose vertical for lnb type when I am on a H channel the channel goes away so I am thinking that the receiver is switching voltage up to the lnb. short of swapping out the lnb I am not sure what else to try. .Have the DISH 1000.2 antenna mast mounted some three feet from the Dish 500 antenna. It is perfect vertical on all 90, and 180 degrees. The Dish 500 antenna is still hooked up to the D/N 508 PVR receiver. Here are the peak angles on the 500... Azimuth...203, Elevation...42, and Skew...113.
